Corporate Legal Secretary I up to $115k I 7-hour day (Sidley Austin)

Join a premier global law firm as a Corporate Legal Secretary supporting 6 attorneys in a dynamic transactional practice, including corporate, M&A, and related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and client communication.
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format complex legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and corporate/M&A materials while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Support daily practice operations through time entry, billing and expense processing, file management, document organization, and collaboration with attorneys, clients, and internal departments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal secretary/legal support experience in a law firm environment.
  • Strong transactional experience required; litigation exposure a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience, targeted range of $95,000 - $115,000 annually + eligible for overtime and discretionary bonuses
